Team Accomplishments

The team.

Together, Rebecca and Sean are an invaluable team, driven further and further forward by their passion to teach. This passion is extended through the community and clients in which they care for and invest in. This sense of family and community means that they are not only your coaches, but also your number one fans, and will be rooting for you from start to finish line. Not only are their clients also their team members, they become your team members, too! Being a part of a supportive community through coffee-dates, virtual races, meet-ups and more, not only better prepares you for your events, but also means helping one-another. Whether you want to be a part of specialized training programs, training load workshops, the next big triathlon or even training during COVID-19 and thereafter, we will always find a way to help you set your goals, and cheer you on when you’ve reached them. Your progress, is our progress!

Race: 13 Peaks Challenge

September 2020

The 13 Peaks Challenge involves tagging 13 mountain peaks around the Cape Peninsula in Cape Town. James was going for the hardest accolade - finishing the 110 km challenge with over 6,000m of vertical gain in less than 24 hours. The mountain decided to deliver some cold, wind, and sideways rain that wouldn't stop. Despite the weather, James managed to run the entire night alone and tag 8 peaks before calling it due to onset of symptoms of hypothermia. Well done James, and we know you will finish the challenge in the near future!

Race: The Cradle Moonlight Trail Run

September 2020

Tim finished second place at the Cradle Moonlight Trail 10 km race. Living in central Johannesburg, Tim does not have many opportunities to run on trail. This makes his performance that much more impressive! The race was also at night to add even more challenge to the race. Well done Tim!

Race: Kiwi's 42 @ 50 Marathon

August 2020

Rich raced a marathon with a group of friends to celebrate a special Kiwi's 50th birthday! They ran 8 loops of 5-km & change to complete the distance. One of the reasons why I love sport is the community and how many 50 year olds race a marathon to celebrate this milestone? Massive kudos Rich - we are so proud!

Race: 10 km Time Trial

August 2020

Rich smashed a 10-km PB of 38:53 running a solo time trial. He inspired the team with his performance and showed that you don't have to be in a traditional race setting to get a best time. We are so proud of you Rich and can't wait to see what the rest of the year brings.

Race: Nek 2 Nek

August 2020

Another awesome challenge created by the Cape Town trail running community - Colleen completed the Nek 2 Nek 21-km trail challege. Runners had 2 weeks to complete the mountain route that went from Constantia Nek to Kloof Nek. And bonus that it ended at a local restaurant to support small businesses for a take out meal or coffee.

Race: 13 Peaks Challenge

August 2020

Sue completed the 13 Peaks Challenge - a trail challenge in Cape Town to summit 13 peaks. Sue and a couple other friends started the challenge before lockdown turned people's lives upside down. She showed teamwork and perseverance to complete the challenge! It was so inspiring to see a group of friends support each other and achieve a huge accomplishment in the face of adversity!

Colleen completed the Gone 2 Gone challenge in Cape Town. Runners had the month of July to run the 21 km route from the Patagonia store in downtown to the store in the southern suburbs - and they had to run over the top of the mountain to get there. It brought the trail running community together for a competitive challenge!
